About Us​
We are a family run business based at Aberhyddnant organic farm in the Brecon Beacons. Since moving to the farm in 1983 the Matthews family has worked towards running a viable farm whilst trying to conserve and promote biodiversity. Aberhyddnant is a 220 acre organic hill farm in Crai producing quality lamb, pork, beef and free range eggs (all available to purchase on the farm). All our animals are reared to strict organic standards where welfare is the highest priority.

In 2014 Nicola started her own diversification journey on the farm. Living in a rural area there were very limited job opportunities so she took a leap of faith and started welcoming guests to the farm to take part in our Sheep walking and farm experiences. These have proven very popular and we are continually adding unique experiences to what we offer.

This brings us to 2021. After a difficult year being closed due to Covid-19 we have decided to take another leap of faith and open up the farm further by offering glamping. We are very excited about this venture and we hope that you will enjoy this experience as much as we enjoy creating it.
